Senior Facilities Manager

Location: Onsite in Ewing, New Jersey, with regular travel between the Ewing and Princeton facilities; in-person attendance is required Monday through Friday.

Base salary: $110,900–$157,900 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations, maintenance, safety coordination, security coordination, workplace services, and service delivery for the Princeton and Ewing buildings.
• Serve as the primary facilities contact for employees, leadership, landlords, property managers, contractors, vendors, and local authorities.
• Establish preventive-maintenance plans, inspection routines, service standards, and response expectations for building systems and infrastructure.
• Manage facility contracts, vendor selection, bids, purchase orders, budgets, invoices, schedules, and contractor performance.
• Develop and execute operating, capital, and CapEx projects from business justification and scope definition through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate renovations, space changes, furniture installations, employee moves, compliance activities, emergency preparedness, and facility documentation while minimizing business disruption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate facilities management, building operations, workplace services, construction, or capital project management.
• Experience managing multiple corporate facilities and serving as an accountable facilities leader for employees and stakeholders.
• Proven experience delivering facilities CapEx projects, including scope, budget, procurement, design coordination, construction oversight, commissioning, and closeout.
• Working knowledge of commercial building systems, preventive maintenance, building and fire codes, life-safety requirements, accessibility, workplace planning, and contractor safety.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, project management, budgeting, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with facility-management systems, project-scheduling tools, drawing platforms, or space-planning software.
• CFM, FMP, PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent professional credentials.
