Equipment Project Manager (HVAC)

Location: Lenexa, Kansas, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday and flexible work location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $65,200–$118,860

What you will do

• Plan and manage HVAC equipment projects, including scope, schedules, procedures, and complex equipment applications.
• Coordinate with building owners, mechanical contractors, subcontractors, field support staff, and other trades.
• Compare equipment ship dates with contractor schedules and ensure compliance with internal ordering processes.
• Monitor project budgets, forecast costs at completion, and control expenses.
• Create and update schedules with tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
• Enter equipment orders, issue purchase orders, generate startup work orders, and manage billing, collections support, and project resources.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business or equivalent plus at least two years of project management, equipment, HVAC, or related experience; or at least four years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature-control equipment.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to work onsite in Lenexa, Kansas, Monday through Thursday.
