Project Manager (Broadcast Media)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA; frequent local travel to construction sites is required, with occasional remote travel and regular driving. The role involves construction-site work, PPE, standing, climbing ladders, and lifting or moving materials up to 20 pounds.

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own audiovisual systems integration projects from initiation through closing, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate account executives, directors, engineers, CAD and programming teams, installation technicians, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project schedules, task lists, budgets, documentation, drawings, deliverables, and project updates.
• Perform field verification, coordinate design reviews, oversee system programming and final checkout, and manage punch-list completion.
• Lead project meetings, resolve technical and stakeholder conflicts, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Coordinate training and project turnover to the client, service department, and sales teams while improving established processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, office environments, or settings involving audio/video systems.
• Familiarity with audiovisual system installations and low-voltage electrical projects.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, supervisory, delegation, organization, planning, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political, and people-related problems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently by car, with occasional air travel; use of a personal vehicle is required for local travel.

Nice to have

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
• AVIXA CTS certification.
• Other certifications relevant to the technology focus of the position.
