Project Manager II, Transmission

Location: Hooksett, New Hampshire, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.

Salary: $122,700–$136,330 annually, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Manage large, complex transmission projects, including substation builds, transmission line construction, and interconnection projects.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance with company policies, regulations, and laws.
• Coordinate regulatory approvals and represent Eversource before regulators, municipal officials, homeowners, and other stakeholders.
• Lead the development and evaluation of engineering, design, construction, procurement, and support-system bid documents.
• Prepare written and oral presentations and responses for senior management and local, state, and federal regulatory proceedings.
• Coach team members, manage performance, and collaborate with Transmission Asset Management, Planning, Design, Construction, Finance, Legal, and other functions.

Requirements

• At least five years of project management or related experience, or equivalent demonstrated competency.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; degrees in finance, business, or an equivalent field will be considered. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong project management, leadership, team-building, coaching, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple complex transmission projects concurrently and make decisions based on project and business information.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Must be available for emergency restoration assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as needed.
