What you will do

• Analyze complex system requirements, program interactions, and interfaces between affected components and subsystems.
• Recommend whether to develop new code or reuse existing code.
• Lead or participate in projects by assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
• Recommend technologies and methodologies to address business needs and solve technical problems.
• Participate in software testing, validation, programming, documentation, and review of test results.
• Provide technical guidance, write or review system specifications, and prevent rework and schedule delays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of development, engineering, or related experience.
• Experience developing reliable and scalable enterprise web applications with Java.
• Experience with microservices architecture, enterprise integration patterns, JavaScript, TypeScript, functional programming, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with Scrum-oriented Agile methodologies, Angular or React, Oracle or SQL Server, and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with IBM MQ, JMS, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud computing, and containerization.
