Software Development Engineer II

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
• Participate in migration to the public cloud.
• Build automated tests, manage test data, and participate in peer reviews.
• Maintain production-focused systems with attention to scalability, uptime, and rapid incident resolution.
• Work in Agile Scrum teams and contribute to improvements in product quality, delivery speed, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Experience in software development and test automation.
• Expertise in a high-level programming language used by the product team, including Java, C#, .NET, or Go.
• Experience with data and query analysis, optimization, automated testing, and security controls.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and troubleshooting complex technical problems across teams.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Git, SQL or NoSQL databases, and test automation tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is preferred.
