Salary: $132,000–$198,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture strategy and technical execution of aviation Product Lifecycle Management systems for the AvPLM program.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate multidisciplinary systems architects and engineers across government and contractor teams.
• Oversee end-to-end system design, integration, interoperability, data modeling, and performance assessments.
• Coordinate architecture development across programs and maintain interface control documents, system views, and compliance matrices.
• Guide PLM tool integration, system modernization, legacy transitions, and digital thread enablement.
• Advise leadership and stakeholders while enforcing DoD technical standards and cybersecurity policies.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Experience leading or supervising cross-functional technical teams.
• Scheduled workload of 40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Three or more years in a supervisory or lead architect role.
• Expertise with Siemens Teamcenter, including BMIDE, Access Management, Dispatcher, and Active Workspace.
• Knowledge of DoD sustainment processes, digital thread initiatives, and PLM-to-ERP integrations.
• Experience with system-of-systems design, configuration management, aviation sustainment architectures, and full-lifecycle PDM/PLM modernization.
