Senior Solderer

Location: Farmingdale, NY, United States; onsite

Manufacturing organization producing electronic, electrical, electromechanical, cable, wire, and circuit-card assemblies and components.

What you will do

• Perform complex soldering and related assembly operations on electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
• Build and test components, wires, terminals, connectors, circuit boards, and other soldering materials.
• Assemble components into final configured products.
• Set up and use soldering irons, rework equipment, microscopes, magnification devices, hand tools, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment.
• Follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions, process specifications, and controlled manufacturing documentation.
• Complete inspection and electronic manufacturing records; attend off-site training or perform off-site soldering and assembly service calls when requested.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in hand soldering and electronic assembly techniques.
• Ability to perform precise manual work requiring fine motor skills and sustained attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed written work instructions and basic engineering or manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and production equipment.
• Ability to work in a structured manufacturing environment.
• Additional security screening may apply because the position may involve exposure to export-controlled information.
