Sr. Project Engineer (Electrical Power Systems)

What you will do

• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program management activities for electrical power module development.
• Lead planning and execution of module development programs against technical requirements, budgets, and schedules.
• Identify risks, drive structured problem-solving and root-cause investigations, and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Prepare development status reports, risk assessments, and escalation briefings for senior leadership.
• Facilitate technical reviews, design checkpoints, and key engineering decision forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience in a hardware development environment.
• Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles and manufacturing release processes.
• Experience with MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and high-quality technical presentations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead without formal authority while managing multiple priorities.
• Must be a U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident, or otherwise eligible for the authorizations required under U.S. government space technology export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience designing battery systems and battery management systems.
• Knowledge of spacecraft power budgeting and analysis.
• Background in systems engineering and spacecraft systems integration.
