Phlebotomist - Silver Lake, Los Angeles

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Silver Lake clinic in Los Angeles, California, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $23–$26 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture, fingersticks, specimen collection, patient identification, labeling, documentation, and specimen handling.
• Prepare lab orders, process and package specimens, reconcile lab errors, run controls, and maintain knowledge of Quest products and requirements.
• Room patients, collect vitals, review charts, support check-in workflows, and prepare patients and providers for visits.
• Support point-of-care testing, consents, procedure setup, chaperoning, autoclave maintenance, sterilization, and room readiness.
• Manage clinical and lab supplies, expiration dates, equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory.
• Support clinic documentation, inbox workflows, communication, training, research, process documentation, and other operational projects.

Requirements

• Active California Certified Phlebotomy Technician license, CPT I or CPT II, in good standing.
• At least one year of hands-on phlebotomy experience in a clinical, laboratory, or outpatient care setting.
• Experience with venipuncture, fingersticks, specimen labeling, processing, packaging, and documentation.
• Experience supporting patient-facing workflows such as vitals, rooming, or point-of-care testing.
• Ability to work onsite at the Pasadena hirify.global Clinic Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience in an outpatient clinic, primary care, women’s health, urgent care, or high-volume lab environment.
• Experience with Quest Diagnostics workflows, lab orders, specimen requirements, or lab error reconciliation.
• Experience with autoclaving, disinfection, sterilization, procedure setup, supply management, or clinical inventory.
