Phlebotomist

Location: Onsite in Shoreline, Federal Way, Snoqualmie, Olympia, Seattle, Chehalis, or Silverdale, Washington, United States

Salary: $22.30–$27.69 per hour

What you will do

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data accurately and process billing information and payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional patient service or client sites when needed.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State-issued phlebotomy license required; an application filed with the Washington Department of Health at the time of hire may be accepted in lieu of the license.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime and additional rotating Saturdays as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication and exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• At least six months of current or prior hirify.global phlebotomy experience.
