Phlebotomist

Location: Onsite roles at locations in Columbus, Dunbar, Harrisville, Huber Heights, and Orient, United States. The primary assignment listed is 4040 E. Broad PSC, Columbus, Ohio.

Salary: $17.75–$25.92 per hour, plus potential quarterly performance bonus.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient information, process billing data, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service, perform administrative duties, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training from an accredited agency, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation, flexibility to work overtime, and ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice to have

• One year or more of phlebotomy experience.

• Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
