TL;DR
Technical Scrum Master / Delivery Lead (Release Management): Owning agile delivery and end-to-end software release management for store team member experience tools with an accent on SAFe execution, release gates, environment promotion, and technical risk management. Focus on coordinating INT → CERT → PROD deployments, enforcing testing and security controls, driving RCA and automated testing adoption, and monitoring post-deployment health.
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan; onsite at the work location address

What you will do
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and maintain the squad backlog in Azure DevOps.
- Coordinate delivery with SAFe practices, including PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, and Scrum of Scrums.
- Own the release calendar, change documentation, audit trail, release notes, deployment records, and incident postmortems.
- Manage the release lifecycle from build and packaging through INT → CERT → PROD promotion and production deployment.
- Enforce release gates covering regression testing, code quality and security scans, test coverage, traceability, rollback plans, and go/no-go decisions.
- Drive technical risk management, RCA, automated testing adoption, technical debt visibility, and post-deployment monitoring with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Splunk.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Technical Project Manager in software engineering, with ownership of release management processes.
- Technical literacy across CI/CD pipelines, API contracts, SQL, cloud terminology, branching, and engineering quality practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps boards, dashboards, and queries, plus GitHub.
- Experience with INT → CERT → PROD promotion, code freezes, rollback procedures, and enterprise change management using ServiceNow, CAB, CR/CHG/CRQ, and PRR.
- Experience with SAFe or another scaled agile framework, including PI Planning.
- Strong communication skills, including translating technical complexity into clear status updates and risk assessments for non-technical stakeholders.
