Project Manager (Scrum Master)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must reside in one of the listed U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. The role requires work from the contiguous United States.

Salary: $114,300–$126,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Act as the primary connection between government stakeholders and delivery teams, managing Agile ceremonies, capacity estimates, delivery expectations, and blockers.
• Serve as Scrum Master for concurrent technical workstreams and coordinate across multiple Scrum teams.
• Triage production incidents, lead releases and incident response during a rotating approximately one-week-per-month assignment, and address Priority One issues when needed.
• Track project risks, dependencies, milestones, progress, outcomes, team velocity, sprint reliability, and backlog health.
• Build relationships with engineers, designers, government stakeholders, contractors, and partner vendors.
• Improve planning, organizing, support, and delivery processes across complex software systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, Product Manager, or similar role in a complex software development environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading Agile Scrum teams and facilitating ceremonies.
• Experience serving as Scrum Master for two concurrent, highly technical workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile performance metrics, including velocity, sprint commitment reliability, capacity planning, and backlog health.
• Experience managing engineering ticketing systems and documenting issues through resolution; Azure DevOps and Confluence experience is preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship is required. Government background checks or security clearance may be required.

• Experience strengthening technical quality assurance processes or CI/CD pipelines.
