Software Developer Intern (Vue)

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada; hybrid work with part of the role in the office and part remote

Pason develops completions software and edge-deployed IoT solutions that help well completion operators work more safely and efficiently.

What you will do

• Develop frontend and backend features for the IWS completions software product.
• Participate in requirements definition, system design, estimation, code reviews, unit testing, documentation, deployment automation, and monitoring.
• Work with JavaScript, Vue, Python, Azure, and related IWS technologies.
• Provide Tier 3 and customer support and perform root-cause analysis for field and laboratory issues.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and User Experience teams to deliver product features.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the third year of a Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.
• Experience with an object-oriented language such as Python or C#.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and the Linux operating system.
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required.
