Business Solutions Consultant II - Associate (Insurance)

Location: US IA - Des Moines; office attendance is required Monday through Thursday, with remote work available on Friday.

Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead research, customer requirement gathering, workflow analysis, and business requirement documentation.
• Analyze customer requests, system impacts, business needs, and proposed solution tradeoffs.
• Develop clear, complete specifications for development and testing teams.
• Implement standard and non-standard customer requirements within at least one platform.
• Collaborate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through software release.
• Resolve client issues, identify problems, and recommend effective solutions with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the financial services or insurance industry.
• 2+ years of experience gathering and writing business requirements for life or annuity products.
• Knowledge of life, annuity, and insurance products.
• Understanding of Agile or Waterfall software development lifecycles.
• Ability to manage day-to-day challenges independently and collaborate with customers and development teams.
