Head of School Systems Design - Early & Primary Years (Education)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid position with part-time telework and up to 40% domestic and international travel.

Salary: $148,928.00–$176,704.93 per year, with benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of early and primary years learning pathways for children typically aged 0–12.
• Align learning, teaching, and assessment with other hirify.global pathways to support coherent learner progression.
• Develop school systems strategies, policies, processes, guidance, and authorization and evaluation requirements.
• Create flexhirify.globalle, culturally responsive, multilingual, inclusive, and low-resource education models for diverse school settings.
• Lead prototypes, pilots, and scalable models for systemic education reforms in collaboration with internal offices and local partners.
• Guide and line-manage the early and primary years school systems design team, manage projects, and oversee budgets.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in an education-related field and 5 years of early and/or primary education experience, or a Ph.D. in Education and 2 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in early or primary years education.
• At least 2 years of school administration or leadership experience; documented international school experience is acceptable.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting student performance or school operations data using analytical tools or software.
• Experience preparing reports and recommendations, implementing curriculum or program changes, managing education projects, and managing budgets.
• Availability for a hybrid role in Washington, DC, with up to 40% domestic and international travel.
