Specialist, Network Contracting (Health Insurance)

Location: Remote for candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas; up to 20% travel required

Salary: $29.74–$39.03 per hour

What you will do

• Support the design and execution of network construction and provider support plans for one or more markets.
• Conduct provider outreach and help meet defined contracting metrics and SLAs.
• Support contract negotiations and align with leaders on strategies for bringing new partners into the network.
• Identify, source, and contract with providers in assigned regions alongside senior analysts and management.
• Document provider feedback, objections, and questions to improve templates and processes.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of experience in healthcare or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in finance, performance management, operations, consulting, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Workspace tools.
• At least 1 year of experience in a client-facing or customer support role.
• At least 1 year of project management experience.
• Must reside in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas; travel of up to 20% is required.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating contracts with ancillary providers, facilities, specialty providers, or physician groups.
• Experience in customer support or customer service.
