What you will do

• Lead sell-side and buy-side technology diligence engagements for private equity, M&A, and portfolio-company clients.
• Assess ERP, CRM, PSA, WMS, warehouse, finance, procurement, order management, fulfilment, and project-to-cash environments.
• Evaluate infrastructure, hybrid cloud, data centres, networks, identity, backup, disaster recovery, MSP and MSSP arrangements.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and interviews to identify control gaps, data issues, manual workarounds, scalability constraints, and key-person dependencies.
• Estimate one-time and recurring technology investments and translate findings into concise conclusions for investors, boards, and management teams.
• Develop post-close systems roadmaps, support vendor selection and delivery governance, and contribute to methods, benchmarks, training, and service development.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in enterprise systems, IT operations, technology leadership, systems transformation, transaction advisory, or related fields.
• Experience leading multiple sell-side, buy-side, or comparable rapid technology assessments.
• Leadership-level knowledge of ERP and warehouse systems, PSA, CRM, traditional infrastructure, and managed services, with deep operating or delivery experience in at least two areas.
• Direct accountability for business-process or systems outcomes, transformation programmes, budgets, service providers, or IT operations.
• Experience with enterprise-system selection, implementation, upgrading, recovery, or rationalisation; traditional and hybrid infrastructure; and MSP or MSSP services.
• Strong analytical, financial, written, verbal, and stakeholder-management skills, with a self-directed working style suited to fast-moving remote client engagements.

Nice to have

• Former CIO, VP of IT, Head of Enterprise Applications, enterprise systems programme leader, technology operating partner, or senior M&A technology advisor experience.
• Experience in professional services, technology-enabled services, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or other operations-focused sectors.
• Experience with Salesforce, professional-services platforms, WMS, warehouse operations, or eCommerce.
• Experience converting diligence findings into systems roadmaps, vendor selections, implementation governance, or interim leadership assignments.
• A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
