Senior Java Developer

What you will do

• Develop scalable backend solutions and Java APIs for next-generation daily banking applications.
• Build resilient, near real-time banking processes serving millions of savings account holders.
• Refine, code, test, and deploy solutions in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Drive test automation, continuous delivery, and deployment using Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Fortify, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary agile teams to solve technical and functional challenges.
• Use AI-assisted development workflows and prompt engineering to improve code, tests, documentation, and productivity.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Maven, Azure, Prisma, and Kafka.
• Thorough understanding of test automation, continuous delivery, deployment tools, and development pipelines.
• DevOps mindset with the ability to own work from refinement through deployment.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and architectural skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business colleagues in an agile environment.

Nice to have

• Lead development experience.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, pair-coding with LLMs, and AI-enhanced coding practices.
