Senior Java Developer (Business Banking Lending)

What you will do

• Write and maintain Java 8+ code for business banking lending applications.
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Deliver highly available, high-performance software components.
• Perform code reviews, testing, knowledge sharing, and defect investigation across test, acceptance, and production environments.
• Prepare and participate in software releases using automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Support the growth of novice engineers.

Requirements

• University or Master's degree in Information Technology.
• More than 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience designing Java-based backend applications with Java EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Cassandra, Oracle, and other database technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and code quality practices, including Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, or Ansible.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or other JVM languages.
• Experience with Kafka, Tomcat, or Checkmarx.
• Experience in application and system security, network components, or infrastructure.
• Experience developing financial applications.
