Senior Java Developer - Easy Financing (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java enterprise solutions across classic JEE middleware and a microservice-oriented platform.
• Reengineer legacy components and support migration toward modern distributed architectures.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, documentation, and governance requirements.
• Analyze complex system landscapes, develop migration scenarios, and ensure smooth parallel operation during transformation.
• Develop and maintain central database structures using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Improve software quality through code reviews, automated testing, compliance documentation, and collaboration with Product Owners, Customer Journey Experts, and Feature Engineers.

Requirements

• University degree in software development, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of practical Java software development experience.
• Experience with Java, JEE, Spring/Spring Boot, Oracle, Hibernate, Apache Kafka, Maven, Git, and IntelliJ.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture, secure operations, and complex distributed Java middleware architectures.
• Experience with agile software development, DevOps collaboration, and regulated environments.
• Strong communication skills with an interest in knowledge sharing, workshops, peer programming, or mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid or private cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Elasticsearch, Ansible, or Microsoft Azure.
