Senior Java Engineer (Banking)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features through the full software development lifecycle.
• Build and maintain the OnePAM API layer and APIs for designated entities and business cases.
• Support production applications and manage monitoring tools for the team’s portfolio.
• Collaborate with feature squads and other teams on shared software components.
• Maintain technical documentation for systems and solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Advanced English.
• Strong experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, and Spring Core.
• Experience with Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, and RESTful API design, consumption, and documentation.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle and unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, and functional programming.
• Cucumber, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience using, adapting, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
