Salesforce Solution Engineer

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia; remote candidates must be based in Canada or the United States, with a preference for PST or EST. Travel in Canada and the US without restriction is required when needed.

Starting base salary: $100,000–$110,000 per year, excluding bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer goals, operational challenges, and digital transformation needs.
• Design tailored business and technical solutions aligned with client objectives and Salesforce capabilities.
• Define technical requirements and scope during the sales process.
• Create and deliver demos, proofs of concept, solution presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and statements of work.
• Partner with sales, engagement, product, services, support, and other stakeholders to support client success, adoption, and scalability.
• Improve presales processes and advise clients on professional services and system migration projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience creating solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of operational software, business applications, and SaaS solutions.
• Experience matching business requirements to technology solutions and working directly with customers to ideate and estimate solutions.
• Experience demonstrating technology and communicating with C-suite executives, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Salesforce Admin Certification; additional Salesforce certifications are preferred.
• Strong prioritization, independent decision-making, relationship-building, and solution-oriented problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, App Builder, Experience Cloud Consultant, or AgentForce Specialist.
• Project or program management experience.
• Experience in nonprofit organizations or community centers.
