Pega Developer (Pega Case Management)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina; Irving, Texas; or Chandler, Arizona. Hybrid work with three days in the office.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications focused on case management and workflow orchestration.
• Build Pega rules, flows, integrations, user interfaces, and decisioning solutions as a hands-on technical lead.
• Design end-to-end case lifecycles with stages, steps, SLAs, approvals, escalations, subcases, spin-offs, and wait shapes.
• Implement REST and SOAP integrations, connectors, services, and synchronous or asynchronous Pega integration patterns.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and establish coding standards and reusable assets.
• Support performance tuning, defect resolution, deployments, production troubleshooting, security, audit, and operational compliance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience and at least 5 years of hands-on Pega development experience.
• Strong expertise in Pega Case Management, the Pega rules engine, flow rules, decision tables, and data pages.
• Proven experience with Pega system integrations using REST, SOAP, services, and connectors.
• Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and leading or mentoring development teams.
• Pega certifications such as CSSA or CLSA.
• Ability to work on a W-2 contract basis and work from the office three days per week in Charlotte, Irving, or Chandler; C2C and 1099 arrangements are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pega Infinity and current platform versions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, cloud, or cloud migration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
