What you will do

• Develop and experiment with modern computer vision and multimodal AI systems.
• Work on OCR, visual recognition, vision-language models, and AI agents.
• Design and optimize algorithms, including confidence estimation and model reliability methods.
• Explore simulation, synthetic data, active learning, and self-learning systems.
• Build statistical models and run experiments on real-world datasets.
• Investigate and improve failure cases in production AI systems.

Requirements

• Foundation in modern AI, computer vision, algorithms, mathematics, or statistics.
• Ability to reason through technical problems and break open-ended problems into testable ideas.
• Experience designing and running experiments with real-world datasets.
• Ability to read research papers, apply relevant ideas, and analyze AI system failures.
• Graduate students in relevant technical fields are ideal; undergraduates and self-taught candidates with strong AI projects are also encouraged.
• Portfolio or GitHub and 1–3 relevant projects or research efforts are required with the application.
