Parts Inventory Specialist (Medical Equipment)

Location: Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Full-time role involving physical inventory, receiving, equipment disassembly, lifting, and materials-area activities. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

What you will do

• Pull and distribute technician requests for parts, equipment, and supplies from stock or disassembled units.
• Disassemble medical equipment, record individual parts, and assemble parts kits for technicians.
• Organize, label, restock, and track inventory movements in the inventory system.
• Receive goods, verify them against purchase orders, communicate discrepancies, put items away, and dispose of packaging.
• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts while keeping the materials area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with technicians and other departments, support continuous improvement, and follow BMES quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft applications, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong active listening, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
