Medical Inventory Specialist (3rd Shift)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; onsite at Tampa General Hospital

Salary: $15.50–$16 per hour

What you will do

• Manage medical equipment inventory, including delivery, retrieval, coordination, and asset tracking.
• Move and maneuver medical products safely within healthcare facilities.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tracking and report equipment issues to management or the Asset Coordinator.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work areas, including 5S activities and infection-control practices.
• Provide professional communication and customer service to hospital and company personnel.
• Work the Thursday–Sunday third shift schedule, including overnight hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• General computer knowledge; intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet skills are preferred.
• Reliability, organization, teamwork, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow safety, ergonomic, ethical, infection-control, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel for 6–8 hours per shift and push, pull, lift, and carry at least 60 pounds, with duties requiring lifting up to 65 pounds.
• Previous hospital or healthcare experience is preferred.
