Senior Software Cloud Engineer - DevOps (Cloud/DevOps)

Location: Mounds View, Minnesota, United States; onsite 4 days per week at the hirify.global facility. Candidates must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is available only for Principal-level roles and above.

Salary: $122,400–$183,600 per year for U.S. locations, excluding Puerto Rico and specific California locations.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable public cloud platform services for enterprise-wide software delivery.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code, automation frameworks, reusable software components, code libraries, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement identity and access management, encryption, logging, observability, resiliency, and compliance guardrails.
• Evaluate cloud services and translate business and security requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop monitoring, runbooks, operational tooling, and AI-enabled operations for global reliability.
• Resolve complex cloud incidents, outages, and security events while mentoring teams and collaborating across application, security, and infrastructure functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2 years with an advanced degree.
• Strong software engineering experience with JSON, Python, and API-driven development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code, automation, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, enterprise governance, and scalable platform services.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available for this Senior-level role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps models.
• Experience building reusable platform services across multiple regions and business units.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed organization.
