Maintenance Technician (Forklift/PIT Maintenance)

Location: Pueblo, Colorado, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $27.39–$38.48 per hour. An additional hourly range of $27.07–$31.63 is also listed.

What you will do

• Perform major electrical, mechanical, construction, equipment installation, and machinery overhaul work.
• Troubleshoot Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley, and other controllers to the component level.
• Diagnose failure root causes and recommend preventative actions and design improvements.
• Maintain forklifts and other powered industrial trucks and vehicles, using hoists, lifts, carts, and related equipment.
• Maintain CMMS equipment records, work-order history, and facilities parts inventory.
• Support continuous improvement, Total Productive Maintenance, equipment status communication, and safe work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; college or technical school education is preferred.
• At least 3 years of mechanical experience and 3–6 years of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or controls experience.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Forklift and PIT/PIV maintenance experience is required.
• Experience with electrical, welding, fabrication, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs, plus electrical safety, print reading, and standard control circuits.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and use a computer-based maintenance management system.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PLCs, servo controls, relay logic, and the hirify.global operating system.
