Maintenance Tech II

Location: OPS- Rialto, CA C09, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment.
• Document maintenance activities, operating logs, equipment issues, production delays, and corrective actions in CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Assemble and test equipment, analyze defects and spoilage causes, and verify that corrective actions resolve malfunctions.
• Complete facility and building projects, including repairs, minor renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and efficiency improvements.
• Mentor maintenance personnel, support maintenance mechanics, and oversee routine maintenance performed by junior engineers.
• Operate and certify on industrial lift equipment and support equipment maintenance across production and facility systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining forklifts, conveyors, and general equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting complex equipment.
• Ability to work onsite, stand for 8–12 hours, work up to 6 days per week, lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally, and work at heights or from ladders.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to on-call requests as needed.
• Ability to follow Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, PPE, and other equipment safety procedures.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or an equivalent field.
• Apprenticeship completion or current trade certification.
• Experience with inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and other computer software.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes and learn new equipment.
