HVAC Technician (Climate Solutions)

Location: Reno, Nevada; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations

Hourly base pay: $28.64–$54.26

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to plan installations and repairs, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
• Support new facility setups, existing-facility retrofits, and commercial customers in healthcare, manufacturing, education, and office environments.
• Maintain safety, asset accountability, and service records while working overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with an acceptable driving record.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones or iPads.
• Ability to perform field-based, on-site customer work and pass additional drug screening for this safety-sensitive role.
