Director, Educational Outreach

Location: Laredo, Texas, United States; on-campus and face-to-face attendance required

Salary: $4,845.70 per month

What you will do

• Direct, develop, support, and evaluate educational outreach, community, and youth programs.
• Lead program marketing strategies, recommendations, and growth initiatives.
• Oversee budget design, fiscal operations, and administrative functions.
• Build relationships with educational institutions, community leaders, organizations, faculty, graduate students, and external educators.
• Develop grant and funding opportunities with private, government, foundation, and civic sources.
• Represent the institution through workshops, conferences, educational meetings, and community events while supporting undergraduate recruitment initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, Communication, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Ten years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, public speaking, organizational, leadership, supervisory, networking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and collaboratively, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgment.
• Regular attendance on campus and in the workplace is required, including on-campus, face-to-face interactions.
• Evening or weekend work and occasional travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in K–12 or higher education and working with students, staff, and administrators.
• Experience with grants.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
