Director, MS Sport Business Analytics Program

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, launch, growth, market position, and overall direction of the MS Sport Business Analytics Program.
• Manage the full student journey from recruitment and enrollment through graduation, career readiness, and employment outcomes.
• Build relationships with Texas A&M Athletics, sport industry partners, employers, alumni, faculty, students, and advisory groups.
• Lead program staff, establish accountability, manage resources, and oversee budget, assessment, reporting, rankings, and accreditation-related data.
• Use student, enrollment, financial, career, market, and employer data to improve program performance and educational experiences.
• Contribute to curriculum innovation, experiential learning, professional development, and continuous program improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in athletics administration, sport business, sport media or analytics, management consulting, or higher education program leadership.
• Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, communication, relationship-management, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work across organizational boundaries, lead change, manage complex initiatives, and translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
• Some travel and evening or weekend work are required; the position is security sensitive and requires a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or another graduate business degree.
• Leadership experience in higher education, graduate management education, business, or another complex market-facing organization.
• Experience leading a program, business unit, product, service, or other enterprise with measurable outcomes.
• Relevant knowledge of sport, sport business analytics, and adjacent industries.
