Global Quality Systems Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Fairport, New York, United States. Global responsibility with up to 25% domestic and international travel.

Salary: $83,400–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the global Quality Management System architecture, policies, procedures, standards, and governance framework.
• Lead ISO 9001 certification maintenance, external audits, surveillance audits, customer audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Develop the global internal audit program, train internal auditors, and monitor corrective action closure and effectiveness.
• Manage document control, quality records, retention requirements, revision control, and quality process standardization across sites.
• Serve as the business owner for the enterprise QMS, leading implementation, configuration, validation, adoption, training, and data integrity.
• Govern CAPA and nonconformance processes, establish quality reporting standards, develop executive dashboards, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of progressive quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment and at least 5 years of QMS ownership or quality systems leadership.
• Experience managing multi-site quality systems, compliance programs, ISO certification and surveillance audits, and enterprise QMS software.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 9001, CAPA, root cause analysis, audit methodologies, document control, and quality governance.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop Quality Systems professionals and quality analysts across functions and locations.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related field.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQA certification.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience with ComplianceQuest, Oracle Fusion QMS, ETQ, or equivalent enterprise quality platforms.
