Plant Controller (Medtech)

Location: Goleta, California, United States; onsite, Monday through Friday

Salary: $180,000–$205,000 annually, plus eligibility for a 15% annualized bonus

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
• Oversee financial statements, filings, reconciliations, AP/AR, and cash forecasting.
• Manage budgeting, cash management, financial analysis, and plant reporting.
• Develop internal controls and oversee audits of policies and procedures.
• Advise staff on non-routine reporting transactions and improve accounting procedures and resource use.
• Provide financial insight as a strategic business partner to leadership and internal departments, while leading accounting personnel when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with an Accounting emphasis; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10 years of related experience and/or training, with 3+ years as an Accounting Manager or Controller preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; strong PC proficiency.
• Ability to analyze financial information, solve practical problems, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to work onsite in Goleta, California, Monday through Friday.
