Factory Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite factory role. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

What you will do

• Plan and monitor factory cost centers, allocations, and variances.
• Review production order costs, investigate deviations, identify cost drivers, and coordinate corrective actions with operations.
• Prepare reports on factory financial performance, cost trends, and areas requiring attention.
• Contribute to monthly forecasting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance commentary for the Charlotte large power transformers factory.
• Support budgeting by developing factory inputs, aligning assumptions with operational plans, and monitoring approved targets.
• Apply accounting standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and controls while supporting internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in factory controlling, manufacturing finance, or cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of cost center accounting, production order controlling, standard costs, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization is required.
