TL;DR
Acquisition Strategy and Documentation Principal (Cybersecurity): Supporting the Cloud One program by developing acquisition strategies, ACAT I documentation, RFP materials, plans, schedules, and senior-level briefings with an accent on DoD acquisition, cyber defense capabilities, and program cost and schedule constraints. Focus on evaluating proposals, tracking contractor deliverables, coordinating multi-stakeholder requirements, and solving strategic acquisition issues under changing priorities.

Location: Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama, United States; onsite role

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

What you will do

  • Develop acquisition strategies, plans, schedules, briefings, and statutory and regulatory documentation for ACAT I programs.
  • Support Acquisition Strategy reviews and the development and review of draft and final Request for Proposal documents.
  • Assist the Program Manager with technical requirements, cost and schedule baselines, corrective actions, and alternative courses of action.
  • Research cyber defense products and emerging capabilities relevant to the Department of Defense, Air Force, and Air Combat Command.
  • Evaluate proposals, track prime contractor deliverables and schedules, and support program management and senior-level reviews.
  • Coordinate with Integrated Product Teams, multi-MAJCOM stakeholders, program offices, and industry to address requirements and capability gaps.

Requirements

  • US citizenship required.
  • Active US Secret clearance required and must be maintainable.
  • Bachelor's degree and 20 years of program management experience, including 10 years in Air Force acquisition.
  • Experience with ACAT I programs, acquisition strategy development, RFP documentation, technical requirements, implementation plans, and test plans.
  • Advanced Air Force program management and acquisition knowledge, including applicable standards, procedures, and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
