Deputy Program Manager (U.S. Navy Training)

Location: On-site in McLean, Virginia, or Virginia Beach, Virginia; travel up to 20% within and outside the continental United States.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support Navy training initiatives and oversee complex, multi-faceted programs.
• Manage program execution across cost, schedule, performance, financial controls, risks, and quality.
• Lead personnel and a diverse technical workforce with multiple skill sets.
• Manage large DoD/DoN support services contracts and task orders involving multiple subcontractors.
• Interface with customers and deliver products on time and within budget.
• Plan, coordinate, and control project work to meet sponsor objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, computer science, information systems, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• At least eight years of program management experience, including four years managing DoD/DoN programs.
• Active PMP certification.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required before starting.
• Conceptual knowledge of U.S. Navy Integrated Training Systems.
• Ability to travel up to 20% CONUS and OCONUS.
