Senior Manager, Procurement (Aerospace)

Location: Greenville, Texas (on-site); business travel of up to 20% is required.

What you will do

• Lead procurement of materials, equipment, and services for FAA, government, commercial, and aerospace programs.
• Manage, direct, and review the work of buyers, managers, and other direct reports.
• Lead supplier negotiations covering best value, lead times, payment terms, milestones, purchase orders, and legal agreements.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, resolve procurement issues, and address supplier performance and supply risks.
• Approve procurement compliance packages covering FAR/DFARS, Department of Defense, and CPSR requirements.
• Drive process improvements, department planning, and supply chain updates aligned with cost, schedule, profit, and cash flow objectives.

Requirements

• Active, in-scope DoD Secret Clearance required; the position requires eligibility to maintain a DoD security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of related experience, graduate degree with at least 10 years, or 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Procurement sourcing, negotiation, compliance, supply chain, and material management experience.
• Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly aircraft programs, parts, or services.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, procurement systems, and supplier quality processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with special access programs or militarized aircraft.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR procurement regulations.
• Lean Six Sigma, data analytics, PPAP, 8-D corrective action, supplier risk management, or supplier category management experience.
