What you will do

• Develop, qualify, sustain, and optimize wafer probe processes for product development and high-volume manufacturing.
• Define and maintain probe card configurations, wafer test setups, operating specifications, and engineering controls.
• Monitor process performance using SPC, EDC, statistical analysis, control limits, OCAPs, screening methods, and engineering dashboards.
• Investigate process excursions through characterization studies, gauge capability evaluations, and tool correlation analyses.
• Lead wafer probe readiness for new product introductions, including test plans, specifications, qualification strategies, and transfers to production.
• Collaborate with test, product, yield, manufacturing, operations, quality, and IT teams on root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer probe engineering, or test engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electrical measurement techniques in laboratory and cleanroom environments.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, semiconductor test methodologies, measurement system analysis, gauge R&R, and process capability studies.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, JMP, Minitab, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with yield optimization, maintenance protocols, failure analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and process improvement through automation, machine learning, or AI-based initiatives.
