Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Process & Equipment)

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work with an assigned engineer in a state-of-the-art 300mm semiconductor factory.
• Reduce variability in process recovery procedures and improve early problem detection.
• Reduce chemical and qualification wafer costs while standardizing processes across similar equipment.
• Enhance process performance measurement techniques and understand complex automated systems.
• Lead improvement projects, present results, and collaborate with equipment, maintenance, engineering, technical, management, and production teams.
• Perform all activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs.

Requirements

• Be at least a sophomore and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field through an accredited program during the internship.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Experience with SPC controls and project management.
• Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Leadership experience, strong communication, planning, organizational, and deadline-management skills.
