CW-Manufacturing Technician II - (T2) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite cleanroom work

Salary: $20.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions to complete assembly operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and improve operational processes under moderate supervision.
• Receive and audit parts, confirm availability, and inspect components for defects.
• Test assemblies using fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Complete job documentation and perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, use hand and power tools, and operate heavy machinery such as forklifts.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom environment and use required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree, technical education, certifications, or relevant training.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills using established procedures or scientific methods.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
