Sr. Subject Matter Expert - Implementations (Fintech)

What you will do

• Evaluate client requirements and configure the platform for investment accounting, middle office, risk, performance, and regulatory reporting needs.
• Develop product expertise and advise clients while contributing input to product roadmap decisions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve the DACH product offering, onboarding experience, delivery timelines, and repeatable processes.
• Support DACH clients throughout implementations by resolving issues, communicating clearly, and building long-term relationships.
• Create training materials and standard operating procedures for the wider team.
• Manage implementation projects, coordinate resources, and contribute subject matter expertise to client and prospect discussions.

Requirements

• Experience in investment operations, investment accounting, financial reporting, middle or back office, or investment data.
• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and/or German regulatory reporting, or experience with trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, market data, derivatives valuation, risk reporting, or regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of securities and financial markets, particularly derivatives, structured products, alternatives, or fixed income.
• Professional communication skills in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with middle or back office transformation or change projects.
• Familiarity with DACH investment industry challenges, including data fragmentation, reporting complexity, accounting standards, and operational efficiency.
