Senior Vice President, Credit Practices, Asset Finance

Location: Frankfurt, Germany; hybrid work with four days in-office each week in most locations

Base salary: EUR 139,500–211,433 annually, with a 30% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for analytical teams covering Asset Finance, Project Finance, PPP, Infrastructure, and other sectors.
• Guide teams on complex credit issues, methodology application, macroeconomic conditions, and sector trends.
• Participate in and chair rating committees.
• Identify cross-sector themes, macroeconomic developments, and systemic risks affecting credit quality.
• Contribute to thought leadership and support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of credit methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of fundamental credit experience, with substantial exposure at a rating agency, lending institution, private credit platform, or comparable organization.
• Deep experience in Asset Finance credit sectors, including Project Finance, PPP, or Infrastructure.
• Strong financial analysis, research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing and mentoring analytical teams in a performance-driven environment.
• Ability to synthesize complex analyses for senior audiences, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high-quality output.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, data science, economics, or a related discipline required; a master’s degree, MBA, or CFA is preferred.
