What you will do

• Coordinate external branch bookkeeping for tax assessments and reporting in compliance with local regulations.
• Manage outstanding VAT balances and perform monthly internal account reconciliations.
• Advise internal stakeholders on the tax treatment and accounting of invoices.
• Monitor accounting processes, policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Supervise branch-office bookkeeping and administration, including approval workflows and internal coordination.
• Collaborate with local advisers and support branch-related accounting and tax projects across different countries.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Finance and Accounting or an equivalent qualification, such as certified accountant or tax clerk.
• Experience in international company groups and internal control systems.
• Profound knowledge of accounting under German tax law and HGB.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations in Germany and Europe.
• Very good MS Office skills; SAP experience is beneficial.
• Good German and English communication skills, along with an independent, diligent, analytical, and structured working style.
