(Senior) Specialist Taxes (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Coordinate tax assessment and tax reporting with external branch bookkeeping partners in line with country regulations.
• Reconcile VAT accounts monthly and coordinate outstanding VAT balances.
• Advise internal stakeholders on the tax treatment and accounting of invoices.
• Monitor internal accounting processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Supervise external branch-office bookkeeping and administration, including approval workflows.
• Support branch-office projects from an accounting and tax perspective across different countries.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Finance and Accounting or a comparable qualification, such as certified accountant or tax clerk.
• Professional experience in international company groups and internal control systems.
• Strong knowledge of German tax law, HGB, and VAT in Germany and Europe.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office; SAP experience is beneficial.
• Analytical, structured, independent, diligent, and quality-focused working style.
• Good communication skills in German and English are required.
