Systems Engineering Co-Op (Medtech)

Location: Onsite in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States

Targeted salary range: $22.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support Mechanical and Test engineering teams with equipment testing and sustaining engineering tasks.
• Assist with creating and executing Engineering and Software Test Protocols using analyzers and laboratory test equipment.
• Analyze test data and prepare Engineering Test Reports.
• Troubleshoot analyzers during test execution.
• Build and design devices, test fixtures, and jigs for engineering development.
• Prepare Engineering Change Orders and Manufacturing Variances.

Requirements

• Good written communication skills.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing or sitting, handle tools and objects, lift or carry up to 20 pounds, and wear personal protective equipment.

• Experience with SolidWorks.
