Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Valley, Nebraska or New Ulm, Minnesota, United States. Travel may include up to 25% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Expected compensation: $124,127–$151,710, including base pay and variable incentive pay where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead capital engineering projects supporting growth, cost reduction, EHS improvement, and equipment or facility renewal.
• Coordinate electrical, facilities, design, technical, and operations teams to deliver project objectives.
• Define and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, forecasts, communications, and financial analysis.
• Contribute to a strong environmental health and safety culture by following policies, identifying hazards, and supporting continuous improvement.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed, up to 25%.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or technical diploma and five years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management; or a bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant combined experience.
• Experience must be completed and verified before starting the position.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work in Valley, Nebraska or New Ulm, Minnesota.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with business, office, and technical software for spreadsheets, presentations, and project scheduling.

Nice to have

• Engineering expertise equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Five years of experience managing capital equipment and/or facilities projects.
• Experience with webline, extrusion, material handling, or inspection equipment.
