Senior Manager, HR Operations (AI)

Location: Hybrid role for applicants within commuting distance of London or Barcelona; more days are expected in-office than remote.

Base salary: £75,000–£125,000 GBP per year, plus eligibility for a long-term incentive award.

What you will do

• Lead the international HR Operations strategy across Europe, Asia and LATAM.
• Translate global HR policies into scalable regional programs and service delivery standards.
• Manage compliance across employment contracts, employee lifecycle processes, global mobility, benefits, payroll, and health and safety.
• Use automation and AI to improve operational efficiency and deliver process, policy and M&A integration initiatives.
• Manage vendors and partner with Legal, Finance and IT on complex operational matters.
• Directly manage the HR Operations Manager and coach the broader regional team using service-level metrics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of HR operations experience, including at least five years managing teams in a global environment.
• Deep knowledge of employment law, payroll, benefits and compliance across multiple countries, especially the U.K., Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
• Proven experience using AI tools to optimize operations and improve workflow efficiency.
• Experience building scalable, automated processes across complex regulatory environments.
• Strong collaboration, vendor negotiation and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work within commuting distance of London or Barcelona and attend the office more frequently than working remotely.

Nice to have

• Conversational or fluent Spanish.
• SHRM-SCP, GPHR or equivalent certification.
• Master's degree in HR, Business or a related field.
