International Payroll Analyst

Location: Remote - United Kingdom

What you will do

• Manage, audit, and execute payroll delivery across 15+ international countries, including inputs, validations, approvals, funding, reconciliations, statutory filings, and post-payroll activities.
• Own international payroll calendars, operating cadences, dependencies, cutoffs, exceptions, and risk management.
• Oversee international equity compensation payroll for RSUs and stock options, including tax and statutory compliance.
• Lead payroll technology initiatives using Workday to automate workflows, improve configurations, and build reporting.
• Manage payroll vendors and coordinate with People, Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, Equity, Benefits, and Internal Audit teams.
• Establish global payroll policies, SOX controls, and standard operating procedures while supporting M&A integrations and new-country launches.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive payroll operations experience in a high-growth, publicly traded technology company with a global footprint.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in payroll, accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Workday Payroll, including reporting, configuration, and integrations, plus global payroll software platforms.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, reconciliations, and audit modeling.
• Thorough understanding of global equity taxation, statutory compliance, international labor laws, and multi-currency payroll distribution.
• Strong problem-solving, discretion with confidential data, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience responding to internal, external, statutory, and financial audits.
• Experience applying automation or AI tools to payroll operations, analytics, controls, case management, or documentation.
• Experience supporting international expansion or payroll transformation in a public, technology, or high-growth company.
